The hobby of two life times is probably the best way to start this "About us" section R & G Autographs is run and maintained by Robert & Gwyn Morgan the story of a hobby that has turned into a business. Gwyn has been colecting autographs since he was 9 years old collecting cricket, football and cinema stars from 1946. I have been collecting autographs for my own collection for as many years as I can remember attending sporting events and thearte shows with my father all for the few minutes or seconds our heroes take time out to sign our treasured photo or well thumbed autograph book.
The last 15 years we have been trading as autograph dealers using the combined 90 years of collecting experince to grow our collection and provide quality autographs for our loyal valued customers.As well as stocking modern film, sports and music stars, we always carry a large collection of vintage stars from fields including, film, music, cricket, ballet, TV & politics... We take pride in the number of repeat customers we have whether they visiting our stall at the various fairs we attend or our worldwide customers who make their purchases via the internet either via this site or our popular "Wants" list service or by our Ebay auctions...
We attend collectors fairs all over the UK from the big two day events like Memorabilia to smaller more specialised fairs in Telford and Cardiff. In addition to this a selection of our stock can be viewed and purchased from the following stores

Over the last few years not only has autograph collecting itself become harder and harder but also the number of forged items has increased dramatically. Prices have also risen as Celebrities have become all too aware of the commercial value of their autographs with the growth of Internet dealings and on-line auctions. This makes them all the more reluctant to sign. All to often after hours of waiting a growing number of artists and sports stars refuse to sign for any waiting collectors..
How do we obtain our Autographs?
The vast majority of the stock is obtained directly from in person collectors who work directly for us; they have actually obtained the signatures themselves and then supplied us directly. We always supply our lifetime certificate of authenticity. The rest come from other well established dealers who again must use in person collectors only or...
- Buy directly / first hand from in person autograph collectors who supply me with dates and places of signings.
- Source vintage autographs from the leading auction houses from the UK and USA.
- Buy from a limited autograph dealers who themselves have a network of in-person autographs specialists or who organise signings directly with the celebrities.
